19c Mahogany Campaign Chest of Drawers

The latest addition to our shop is this majestic 19th Century solid mahogany curved campaign chest of drawers.

This beautiful piece of history is made from the finest flamed mahogany, giving it a mesmerising appearance. Unbelievable detail throughout, it’s allure speaks for itself.

Starting it’s life for use in the military in the late 1800’s, the chest’s stature & quality would suggest this piece would have been made for a high ranking officer.

Stunning curved edges & traditional split design for practicality when in transit. The 5 drawers are finished with original solid flush brass handles & escutcheons. Fantastic size for storage. The interior of the drawers are oak & constructed with dovetail joints. Chest stands on fitted turned feet.

The chest has been given our finest polished finish & heavily waxed to not only make this gorgeous piece the centrepiece of any room but to also help as extra protection from everyday use.
